Drumroll please...And the winners of the 2007 I-GO Audio Emissions online vote to be included in the all-star Chicago compilation CD are...

Winning the Hip Hop category is Animate Objects. Aptly subtitled "fast car hip hop," Animate Objects are sure to be a favorite road song in the I-GO cars. Imelda de la Cruz (Other category) and Billie D (Jazz/Blues/Gospel category) and will chill out any road rage with their laidback tracks. IIwII (It Is What It Is) will make drivers shrug off bad traffic with their philosophical rock music. If that doesn't work, Od Tapo Imi provides an "instant vacation" with powerful vocals accompanied by steel drums, winning the "World" category.

Detholz! Rides Shotgun at I-GO Audio Emissions

The party will be held on Thursday, May 31st doors 6pm/show 7pm at the Metro (3730 N Clark) and will introduce you to up-and-coming local artists:

• Detholz! (pronounced "Death Holes") with members from Baby Teeth and Bobby Conn will headline with new wave inspired music
• Palliard uses guitar, pedal steel, upright bass, Wurlizer electric piano, drums, and three-part harmonies to create a "good caffeine fueled whiskey drunk"
• Madison Buchanan, the newest R&B sensation

New Keypad Devices



In our continuing effort to improve our service to you, we'll be adding new in-car electronic keypad devices to all I-GO vehicles over the next few months. It will be much easier for you to get help while you're on the road and it will make it easier to find the fuel cards and to keep them from getting lost. Look here for the car keys and gas card. You can even use it to call the Call Center without having to (dangerously and illegally) hold it to your ear. It's magic!

Member Profile(s) - Businesses Use I-GO for Event Shuttles!


Yes! Businesses can be I-GO members too, and look at all the innovative ways they are using I-GO cars!

Did you get a ride from the oh-so-out-of-the-way McCormick Place to Funky Buddha after-Green Fest-party on April 21st? That was courtesy of local magazine and newest I-GO member Conscious Choice. Pioneering Chicago’s green and natural living community for 20 years, Conscious Choice serves as a valuable resource to help readers live Active, Balanced and Conscious lives.

The Wicker Park Bucktown Gallery Association (WPBGA) just signed up for I-GO and immediately used the service to shuttle around art-lovers at their monthly Second Saturday. WPBGA is an organization of galleries in the Wicker Park and Bucktown neighborhood (roughly defined with the southern border at Division, the northern border at Fullerton, the western border at Western, and the eastern border at the Chicago River). "A few of the galleries on our 'walk' are pretty far apart," says Jessica Cochran of WPBGA, "so it will hopefully save people from bringing their own cars and having to stop and start their cars and find parking at each of the farther galleries." Look for the I-GO shuttle at the next Second Saturday on May 12th!

Member Tip - Transaction and Online Billing

Standard Plan and Standard Plus users now have their debit/credit cards billed 5 to 7 business days after they complete each trip. Members on other plans will continue to be billed at the end of the month.

Any rate plan change that you make now takes effect in the following month. (i.e. if you changed your rate plan in April it will apply to your May usage). This applies to all of our rate plans including our monthly GO Plans.

Starting in May you will be able to view your bill online on or around the 10th of each month by logging on at the I-GO website and clicking on the My Accounts tab. Lighten your environmental footprint by letting us know if you no longer want to receive a hard copy of your bill. You may change your statement delivery method to "Online Only" via the website My Accounts tab, or call us at 773-278-4446 and choose option 2.

Oh! The Places I-GO! - Glenview

Did you know that the Chicagoland area used to be a prairie? You probably kind-of knew that from your history textbook in elementary school, but do you REALLY know what that means? Why not take an I-GO car down to see a real one in Glenview? Set admist 32.5 acres of pristine prairie, the Evelyn Pease Tyner Interpretive Center, which opened last month, will serve as both gateway and guide to the Village's Air Station Prairie - and as an example of how man made structures can harmonize with the environment. 2400 Compass Rd. May 28th Mini Bike Ride for Climate

Meet at Waveland Clock Tower at 9am. HELMETS REQUIRED. Show off sustainable enterprises such as I-GO Car Sharing and everything else that's green. The ride is free, but bring cash or food for your lunch. Sponsoring organizations: Chicago Cycling Club and Cycling Sisters.
